zines
contribution to field: this is a PhD joke
a zine is a homemade mini magazine, in the tradition of feminist pamphlets and fanzines and scrapbooks. I make mine from paper, folded and/or stitched. here’s a selection that I’m making for my creative-critical PhD at the University of Otago, where I’m exploring ways of unsettling the violence and erasure of settler coloniser narratives in the rural south of Te Waipounamu the South Island of Aotearoa New Zealand.
